Olafur Eliasson’s work at this year’s Frieze Art Fair is a construction of glass, stainless steel and backside mirrors. “Thinking Sphere” hangs imposingly in mid air, high enough to have to bend double to reach underneath, but low enough that one has the urge to wrap one’s arms about the joyful circular structure.

Older: Nigel Coates & the Poltronova Connection
Coates’ latest collection delves into bones and limbs, joints that connect and form skeletal frameworks that sustain weight….the genesis of this idea had come from thinking about the body’s supporting structures and one stool in particular that had started the ball rolling.
Newer: Louise Despont
Her drawings are an amalgam of imagery from the bookplate to patchwork and archival draftsmanship.
