Wedgewood Wattle

I’ve been admiring a piece of Wedgewood ceramics that I found along the way recently. This one has white clay with a yellow wattle sprig… so Australian, and a truly beloved Australian flower. It is a ceramic house which has held great influence in it’s field since it’s beginnings in 1759, not least being the reference for a particular cast of heavenly blue. The white cast is an unusual find, and a little treasure.
