I’ve been AWOL for the last month. Where you may ask? Quite a few delicious spots in short answer. Here and following this month are a few snaps of the view on the streets.
This one was taken somewhere on the Ile Saint Louis. Staying on the Quai du Valmy beside the Canal Saint Martin was a great start on this trip to Paris.
There is a lusty stroll that will take you from the bookshops along the quai, down through the Marais… and may I suggest taking Rue Vieille du Temple. across the river onto Ile Saint Louis, and across again onto Boulevard Saint-Germain which will eventually lead you to blissful antique and furniture dainties. A stroll that yields many visual treats for the design obsessed, and those seeking sustenance of the sort. Ðα ©
