Ralph Lauren unveiled sumptuous Christmas windows on Madison Avenue last night. The stage is set and behind the scenes the players attire in dressing rooms. Lots of sparkle, beading and lacing. Amidst the backstage scenes vintage 30s glamour collides with Santa Fe blankets and stag horns. The attention to detail sees that no point is left out, down to the row of Can-Can dancers on the stage above the suited Musician in the orchestra pit and the window boxes lined with aromatic fur branches. The scent of an alpine glen wafts around me as I click away with my camera.
